My name is Sergey, I am a master of service / repair /modification of Soviet lenses and cameras.
For a long time I worked as a design engineer in the field of mechanical engineering and had a hobby - collecting Soviet cameras.
I randomly sold one Soviet camera in 2019 (I still remember this Zorki 4k).
Since then, I have decided to professionally engage in the sale of Soviet cameras and lenses.
The history of the Mother Russia Camera Shop
I don't remember why I decided to name my store Mother Russia Camera Shop, most likely this is the first thing that came to my mind.
From 2019 to March 2022, I successfully sold Soviet photographic equipment on Ebay and in 2021 received the status of a Top Rated Seller.
In February 2022, a war broke out in eastern Europe and a month later ebay "canceled" all Russian sellers.

Unfortunately, I can't sell there anymore due to Ebay's policy, since I am a Russian citizen...
The year 2022 was very difficult and I lost all trading platforms. Fortunately, I was able to survive thanks to regular customers. (God bless you guys!)
In 2023, I started selling on the Inspire Uplift (https://www.inspireuplift.com/shop/MotherRussiacamerashop)
Unfortunately, by the middle of 2024, problems began on the Inspire Uplift trading platform with a long waiting period for withdrawal of funds (from six months) so in August 2024, I created this website.

My home workshop is located in the historical center of Russia - Vladimir province.
For me, the most important thing is to do my job reliably so that my client is satisfied with the purchase. When buying my lenses and cameras, you can be sure of the quality of the product and that I am always in touch with the buyer. Another principle of mine is customer loyalty. I would rather lose money or time, but to ensure that the customer is satisfied.
